Introduction
I’ve been a designer for more than 8 years and I’ve learned that good design is not just about making something look pretty. It’s about creating an experience, and it has the power to make us feel things. We can use this power to make our families healthier, our communities safer and even to save lives. I hope my work inspires you in some way, whether it’s by motivating you to try new things or by giving you a few ideas for your next project.
Product Design
Product design is the process of designing and developing a product to meet the needs of the customer. It is not just about aesthetics or visual appearance but also encompasses ergonomics (human factors), usability, brand development, and other aspects. Product designers are often expected to have an eye for beauty while also being able to put themselves in the shoes of someone who will be using their creation. They often work in teams with engineers and marketers as they develop new products or improve existing ones based on market research data, feedback from customers, and competitors’ offerings.
Brand Identity
Brand identity is the visual representation of your company. It can be anything from a logo to a color scheme to a slogan. Brand identity is what people see when they think about you, and it’s often their first impression of you as well. If someone sees your brand identity and likes what they see, they’re more likely to trust you and buy from you in the future. This is especially important for small businesses because brand identity can help create an emotional connection between customers and companies that compete with bigger companies like Amazon or Walmart which offer lower prices but lack personal touch.
Brand identity also reflects your company’s personality—it shows how fun-loving or serious-minded your business may be, for example. This can give customers insight into how much time (or money) they should spend serving clients as compared with other providers out there providing similar services at different price points—you can choose whether or not these factors matter most when deciding whether or not it makes sense for them to come back time after time again! And even if there isn’t any difference between competitors’ offerings–like price point–the fact remains that having something unique enough about yourself will attract attention despite its lack of differentiation; this means building up some excitement around whatever makes YOU stand out among all others just might pay off dividends in terms of success down the road…
Mobile Application
With the rapid rise of mobile usage, it’s important that your product is designed accordingly. An application can be used on multiple platforms and devices by way of responsive design—the practice of using CSS3 media queries to reposition elements according to the width of the browser window—so it’s essential that you consider what platforms your product will be available on.
Mobile applications may be created for any number of operating systems: iOS, Android, Windows Mobile (formerly Windows Phone), Blackberry OS, or even web-based apps built with HTML5 and JavaScript. Your choice depends primarily on what kind of device(s) your users will have access to while using your app. If they’re using an iPhone 5s with iOS 9 installed, then there’s no reason why you shouldn’t optimize it specifically for that environment; but if they’re running something older like an iPad 2 or Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean installed then maybe now isn’t the best time for such a large investment into developing native apps just yet (since these versions don’t offer some newer features).
UI & UX Design
UI design is the process of designing the user interface (UI) of a website or application.
UX design is the process of creating an experience and not just a logo, website, or app. The goal of UX design is to create an intuitive and engaging experience for people interacting with your product.
Social Media Design
Social Media Design is the art of creating visual content for social media platforms. It is a very important part of the overall marketing strategy and helps businesses reach out to their customers and build brand awareness.
Businesses can use Social Media Design to offer discounts, create contests, announce new products or services, and much more. They can also post these updates on their website or blog so that they are more visible to their target audience.

Conclusion
Empathy is a human instinct and an important part of our lives. As designers, we need to be more aware of this and use it in our work. If you’re interested in learning how to build empathy into your design process, I recommend checking out my eBook on the topic (it’s free too!).
